Introducing Dr. Carey Nease

Carey Nease

Dr. Nease performs a full-range of cosmetic procedures, but has exceptional talent in aesthetic surgical procedures on the face and neck. Having trained as an artist before turning to medicine, Dr. Nease paints beautiful portraits with his hands. Few surgeons can compare their artistry to his. Dr. Nease is certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has performed more than 6,000 cosmetic surgical procedures, using innovative techniques with laser technology and unsurpassed commitment to excellence through surgical artistry.

Dr. Nease’s goals for his practice are to protect patient safety, deliver complete patient satisfaction and produce outstanding results. His research has been published in several aesthetic surgical journals, he has written several book chapters, and he has given numerous lectures and presentations for his peers across the country. Dr. Nease trains other surgeons from around the world. He has taught a facial rejuvenation course sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and at the New and Established Techniques in Breast and Body Contouring: A Hands-On Cadaver Workshop in St. Louis, MO. He has consistently been chosen to teach at AACS-sponsored workshops each year since 2007. He was Co-Chairman of the AACS fall symposium of cosmetic surgery in Hawaii in the fall of 2011.

As a Fellowship Director for the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, he provides training to ABMS-certified fellows who are either general surgeons, plastic surgeons or head and neck surgeons. He is also a board-examiner and trustee of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He was named Best of the Best Cosmetic Surgeon for the last four years in Chattanooga, TN. Dr. Nease and his wife Pamela live on Lookout Mountain (since 2009) and have four children who attend Chattanooga Christian School.
