What is a Mommy Makeover Plus?

Mommy Makeover is a combination of several procedures at Southern Surgical Arts with the goal of restoring a woman's body to pre-pregnancy days.  The effects of pregnancy include stretching of the skin, fat deposits, stretch marks and a weakness of the abdominal wall causing a woman to feel insecure about losing her youthful figure. The Mommy Makeover procedures commonly combined include tummy tuck, breast augmentation with lift if necessary and SmartLipo laser body sculpting.  The Mommy Makeover Plus combines the Mommy Makeover procedures with vaginal rejuvenation! The Plus, vaginal rejuvenation, is designed to restore the youthful appearance of the female genitalia.

Dr. Deal performs two different vaginal rejuvenation procedures, a minoraplasty and a majoraplasty. A minoraplasty is for when the minora is stretched and elongated with excess skin. It involves trimming the excess skin to the desired size, symmetry, and youthful shape. A majoraplasty is a procedure performed for when the majora becomes flat and wrinkled appearing. It involves a fat transfer to restore the volume lost which in turn also alleviate the wrinkling. A minoraplasty and a majoraplasty can be performed together to give a much more youthful appearance and return a woman to her pre-pregnancy days.
