Chad Deal, MD at Southern Surgical Arts

A native of Alabama, Dr. Deal is a fellowship-trained Double Board Certified Cosmetic Surgeon. His board certifications are with the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Deal has trained surgeons from around the world in a facial rejuvenation course sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in March of 2011. He has been selected to present at the 2011 American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery's Fall Symposium.

He graduated in the top quarter of his class from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2004 and then spent 5 years training as a general surgeon with Baptist Health Systems in Birmingham – where he served as a Chief Resident. In 2010, Dr. Deal completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship program in Las Vegas under the guidance of Dr. Lane Smith, a world-renowned and quadruple board certified Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon.

Dr. Deal’s fellowship program is sanctioned by American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, a prestigious organization that fosters, promotes, supports, augments, develops and encourages the science, art and practice of cosmetic surgery. Formed in 1985, it strives to train qualified surgeons to deliver excellent cosmetic surgical care and to educate patients on the benefits of cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Deal is on faculty with Southern Surgical Arts' American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery's fellowship program where he trains talented surgeons from around the country each year. The surgeons who finish the fellowship program are eligible to become boarded by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.

Southern Surgical Arts recently won the 2011 Readers’ Choice award for Best Place for Cosmetic Surgery in Northwest Georgia.

Dr. Deal and his wife, Jennifer, currently reside on Lookout Mountain with their two sons.
