Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Iannitti has held numerous leadership positions, including Professor of Surgery at Atrium Health and Wake Forest School of Medicine, where he served as Chief of HPB Surgery and Program Director of the HPB Surgery Fellowship. A nationally recognized innovator and educator, he has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, directed national training programs, and pioneered advancements in minimally invasive and image-guided surgical techniques. His groundbreaking work has earned him several research awards, patents, and leadership appointments within major surgical organizations such as the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (AHPBA) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
