What to Expect During the Procedure

Your breast augmentation begins with a detailed consultation where we’ll review your health, measurements, and desired look. Once your custom plan is finalized, here’s how the surgery goes:

  1. Anesthesia is administered.
    This ensures you remain comfortable and pain-free throughout the entire procedure.
  2. The incision is made in the agreed location.
    Your surgeon uses a precise technique to minimize visible scarring and protect surrounding tissue.
  3. Implants are placed in the breast pocket.
    The placement—either above or beneath the muscle—is based on your anatomy and goals for the most natural result.
  4. Incisions are closed with layered sutures.
    Internal sutures support healing, while external stitches are placed to minimize tension on the skin.
  5. A surgical garment is applied for support.
    This helps reduce swelling, stabilize your implants, and promote proper healing during the initial recovery phase.

The procedure typically takes 45 to 60 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis.

Recovery and Results Timeline

You’ll receive specific instructions to guide your recovery and ensure optimal results. Most patients return to light activity in a week.

  • Swelling and tightness are typical for the first few days.
  • Supportive bras and garments reduce swelling and promote healing.
  • Exercise is limited for four to six weeks.
