Dr. Andrew Ray
Dr. Ray originally from rural Maine has an extensive and varied background around the country and the world. Dr. Ray settled in Chattanooga TN after completing a cosmetic fellowship year at Southern Surgical Arts. Prior to this he completed his General Surgery Residency in Pontiac Michigan with an extensive background in Trauma Surgery, then worked 5 years in rural New Hampshire focusing on hernia repair, and skin cancer management with facial flaps. Dr Ray also works regularly as a volunteer surgeon with Mercy Ships, an non profit organization that serves many different countries along the coast of Africa.
Dr. Ray now has settled with his 2 Children on Lookout Mountain and is enjoying the the southern life. His surgical practice is quickly becoming known for natural aesthetics, refined body sculpting. In addition to surgery Dr. Ray is actively working on a research regarding pain management and the reduction of opioid consumption in cosmetic surgery. Additional research being conducted includes topics around scar management, and drainless tummy tucks with extensive liposuction.
Dr. Ray is active in the American College of Ostoepathic Medicine, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Hernia Society, American College of Osteopathic Surgery.
