Tighten, Tone & Transform

BodyTite and FaceTite are advanced, effective, and safe procedures to reduce fat and tighten skin at the same time, virtually anywhere on the face or body. They employ radiofrequency (RF) waves to heat tissue and tighten skin. The heat from the radiofrequency waves causes fat cells to liquefy, allowing them to be easily removed while simultaneously promoting collagen production in the surrounding tissues. This dual action results in improved skin elasticity and smoother skin texture following treatment. These technologies are revolutionizing the world of cosmetic surgery, and many doctors consider them to be "the way of the future."

Benefits

BodyTite and FaceTite help patients rejuvenate their skin and eliminate unwanted fat deposits without any surgical incisions. Additionally, these are quick procedures that fit conveniently into busy schedules. Some of the reasons our patients opt for these treatments include:

Optimal Convenience

You can remove fat cells and tighten the skin on your face and body in the ways that you want to. The team at Southern Surgical Arts will carefully listen to your goals to plan a procedure that removes as much or as little fat as you would like.

Improved Confidence

Sagging skin and fat deposits can be unsightly and impact the self-esteem of many patients. Correcting these issues helps these individuals feel like their best, most attractive selves.

No Scarring

Unlike other body sculpting procedures like liposuction, no incisions are required for BodyTite and FaceTite.

Fast Completion

Different treatment areas will require different lengths of time for each procedure, but BodyTite and FaceTite rarely last more than 75 or 45 minutes per session, respectively.

Personal Consultation

If you believe you would benefit from BodyTite or FaceTite, we encourage you to schedule a consultation with a provider at Southern Surgical Arts. At this appointment, you will discuss your goals with your provider and have your medical history reviewed to rule out any potential issues. Once we have the necessary information, we will create a treatment plan that is customized to your particular case. Most patients can even receive their first treatment session at this appointment as well.

Preparation

Minimal preparation is required for your radiofrequency rejuvenation treatment with BodyTite or FaceTite. If you take any medications that could cause complications, we may ask that you cease using them. In most cases, the only preparation we require is arriving at your appointment on time!

Procedure

BodyTite and FaceTite use radio-frequency assisted lipoplasty (RFAL™) technology. Treatment can be precisely targeted to very small areas such as under or above the eyes, or it can produce consistent results over larger areas of the body. The procedure is performed under light sedation or local anesthesia.

FaceTite can be used to tighten skin on any area of the face or neck, such as jowls, double chin, and deep wrinkles. BodyTite can be used to tighten and contour the arms, chest, abdomen, buttocks, inner and outer thighs, and knees. Treatment takes about 15 minutes per zone, and multiple zones can be treated in a single visit. Radiofrequency treatments emit an electric current into the tissue receiving the treatment.

This produces heat and mimics the body’s natural electrical impulses. The underlying tissue is heated to a higher temperature than the outer epidermis. This heat will result in the death of fat cells and the body will begin to remove these naturally through the lymphatic system. (1) Unlike laser treatments, radiofrequency does not target certain cells. All fat and tissue cells in a treatment zone will be eliminated with RF.

Recovery

There is no downtime following a FaceTite procedure. You can go home immediately and resume normal activities right away. However, while there is no recovery, we do recommend that patients avoid strenuous activities and rest after their procedures. You will be able to resume activities as normal the day after, but we recommend taking things easy for the rest of the day after your procedure. Recovery after a BodyTite procedure can be as little as 1 or 2 days, depending on the treatment area(s).

Results

You will begin seeing results after your first session, but we typically recommend 3 to 4 sessions to maximize results. Results are visible immediately and continue to improve up to a year after treatment. The best results are noticeable after about 6 months. After your first session, the radiofrequency treatment will kill the fat cells in your treatment zones. Your body’s lymphatic system will dispose of these dead cells naturally. Collagen will be produced in the treatment zone. This will make your skin firmer and tighter, and help you achieve the rejuvenated appearance you desire.

BodyTite & FaceTite Frequently Asked Questions

How does FaceTite work?

During the FaceTite procedure, radiofrequency energy works to tighten loose skin by stimulating collagen production. As this process begins, patients can expect improvements in skin texture and elasticity. In addition to smoothing skin, FaceTite reduces stubborn pockets of fat in areas such as the cheeks and under the chin. By precisely targeting these areas, FaceTite enhances the contours of the face and creates aesthetically pleasing angles.

How long does a FaceTite procedure take?

FaceTite typically takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the area being treated.

How long is the recovery time from BodyTite?

Most patients return to light activities within a few days, but full recovery may extend to several weeks depending on individual healing processes.

What areas can be treated with BodyTite?

Common treatment areas include the abdomen, thighs, arms, and buttocks where excess fat and loose skin are present.
