Laser Rejuvenation | Skin Resurfacing

Today you have a variety of options when it comes to rejuvenating your appearance and skin texture. One of the newest is laser resurfacing, which can reduce facial wrinkles, scars and blemishes. Laser resurfacing is the go-to procedure for many of the most beautiful people to help them age gracefully. Depending on which laser we recommend, laser resurfacing can be performed one or two times a year and can improve:

  • Fine lines or wrinkles around or under your eyes, forehead or mouth
  • Improve texture of skin
  • Create a more even color
  • Aged or sun-damaged skin
  • Scars from acne
  • Stimulate growth of new collagen fibers

Laser resurfacing can reverse the effects of years of damage to your skin, whether it’s your face or other areas of your body that bother you. Common areas of treatment include face, neck, décolleté and hands.

We offer advanced laser technology and the latest medical science to revitalize your skin. Our lasers target pigmented lesions, facial redness, spider veins, scarring and other irregularities while stimulating new collagen production to eliminate fine wrinkles, tighten the skin and deliver a more youthful, healthier appearance.  Depending on your needs, Dr. Nease or Dr. Deals will recommend the right treatment for you. At Southern Surgical Arts, we have both ablative lasers (CO2 & Erbium), as well as a host of non-ablative lasers (IPL, Alexandrite, YAG, etc.) that allow us to tailor your treatment to meet your overall goals.

At Southern Surgical Arts, Dr. Nease and Dr. Deal can tailor a rejuvenation package for you by adding either microdermabrasion or vibradermabrasion to maximize your results.  Alternating laser treatments with microdermabrasion or Vibraderm® will help eliminate the older, outer-skin layers letting your newly toned and revitalized look emerge.

As part of our commitment to you, the staff at Southern Surgical Arts will create a treatment plan during a complimentary consultation that is tailored to your aesthetic needs and goals.  There are, however, some frequently asked questions about our different techniques for skin rejuvenation.
