Southern Surgical Arts is the practice of two surgeons: Dr. Carey Nease and Dr. Chad Deal. Together, they combine unsurpassed training, years of experience and the latest technological advances to ensure that you achieve your aesthetic goals.
Dr. Nease and Dr. Deal are both fellowship-trained and Board-Certified cosmetic surgeons. They share a passion for positively affecting the lives of their patients by artfully enriching and renewing each patient’s natural beauty.
Our practice is 100% committed and focused on cosmetic surgery and is an innovative leader in using laser technology to produce great results. Over the past few years, we’ve successfully completed more than 5,000 procedures.
Our surgeons train other surgeons around the United States. Dr. Nease trains other physicians on using SmartLipo and the Affirm fractionated CO2 laser for resurfacing procedures. In March 2011, Drs. Nease and Deal hosted and lectured during an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS)-sponsored Live Surgery Workshop. This two-day teaching course covered the latest techniques in facial rejuvenation, facelifts and laser technology. Surgeons from across the country attended, to discuss Dr. Nease and Dr. Deal’s approach to facial rejuvenation. Both surgeons were also speakers at the AACS' Fall Symposium in Hawaii. In 2012, Drs. Nease spoke at the AACS' Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, NV and both surgeons are teaching at the New and Established Techniques in Breast and Body Contouring: A Hands-On Cadaver Workshop in St. Louis, MO.
